Friday afternoon Brittany and I jumped back in the adventure mobile and headed north for Leesburg, VA, her hometown.

Brittany kept telling me how crazy her mom was over and over. Let me tell you she’s not crazy she’s so much fun! As soon as we arrived we were met with full wine glasses and laughs. The banter between Brittany and her mother should really be turned into a television show.

Brittany’s mother, Linda, was having her best friend Mary come to visit. They’ve been friends since the 2nd grade. Wow.

Once Mary arrived and we had some more wine and snacks we headed to downtown Leesburg for their First Friday event. A cute little town and this picture is from the biker bar Payne’s that is located directly across the street from the jail so that sign has a special meaning. Our plan was to go drink and sing karaoke there but it didn’t work out. Oh well next time.
